Cavalier Public School – Notice of Candidate Filing Deadline Notice is hereby given that the deadline for filing to have your name printed on the ballot for the Cavalier Public School Board election is March 31st, 2025, by 4:00 p.m. The following offices are up for election: School Board Member – Rural Zone currently held by Courtney Ford (3 Year Term) School Board Member – City Zone currently held by Rachel Ramsay (3 Year Term) A candidate for a school district board member office must prepare and sign a document stating the candidate’s name and the position for which the individual is a candidate, and an SFN 10172 Statement of Interests form. Both documents must be filed with the school district business manager for Cavalier Public School by the above filing deadline date and time. All forms are available from the school district business manager’s office at Cavalier Public School or by calling (701) 265-8417.

Fifteen Cavalier FFA Chapter members competed at the Little I CDE contest at NDSU on February 14, along with hundreds of other students. Students learned many new things and gained confidence by trying something new! Students chose to compete in livestock judging, ag sales, agronomy, or small animal care.
