A million times...that's how many times Hayden has asked me to read in study hall while being denied. I'm not even sure that's a hyperbole! This kid has been a reading machine for the past two years and would choose this activity over the rest of my class content any day. No offense taken! Congrats to Hayden and his family for another million in the record books! :)

The 5th grade classes recently visited the North Dakota Museum of Art in Grand Forks. Students viewed different art pieces, discussed art and all the observations they made of the pieces, and interacted with many different forms of art (even the rocks in the final pictures were art pieces called couch potatoes). Students were very eager to engage in discussions with the leader. We were thankful for this opportunity to extend learning beyond the classroom!
