The Pembina County Spelling Bee top two finishers are both Cavalier students. Owen Crosby took first place, and Caitlyn Karau place second. both of these students will advance to the State Spelling Bee on March 21st in Bismarck. Congratulations to both of them.

The game time for the Girls Basketball game scheduled for tonight against Rolla has been moved up to 4:30. They will play 3 quarters of JV starting at 4:30 followed by a full varsity game.
As of 4 pm today, the case count of positive COVID cases is six for Cavalier School.
Reminder next week begins Snow Week! Dress up days are open to all grades.

Practice update due to incoming weather:
-Youth Wrestling will be CANCELED today
-JH Boys basketball will practice in the armory and end practice at 5:00
-JH Girls basketball will practice in the multi and end practice at 5:00
-HS Girls basketball will practice in the gym and end practice at 4:45
-HS Boys basketball will practice in the gym from 4:45-5:30
-HS Wrestling will practice in cavalier tonight and finish early
The girls basketball game vs. Midway-Minto scheduled for tonight has been postponed to tomorrow, February 1st in Midway with 3 games (JH/JV/V) starting at 4:30.
We are hopeful this date will work, but will watch the weather and make a change if needed on Tuesday morning.
Also honored at our Student & Staff Success Assembly were the Quarter 2 Student of the Quarter winners and other recognition for students and staff for academic, music, leadership, invincible grit, and great attitudes. Congratulations everyone!
Cavalier School held our Quarter 2 Student & Staff Success assembly Friday morning. Pictures are the Terrific Tornado awards winners in Elementary, Middle, and High School along with the Elementary F5 award winners (best of the best!) These students were recognized for being respectful, great citizenship and study habits, and being kind and respectful. Congratulations!
