The Scholastic Book Fair is coming!
We are looking for any businesses or parents who’d like to support our Scholastic Book Fair again this year. We were overwhelmed with your generosity last year and would like to continue with our sponsorship program for students. We are also adding a basket raffle to support our school and classroom libraries. If you’d like to donate to either of these great causes, please drop off your donation(s) no later than Friday, February 25th. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Mrs. Kennedy.
Student Sponsorship – Suggested donations of $10-$15 for a student in need who might not otherwise be able to purchase a book at the book fair. We will create E-Wallet accounts for students and hand them out.
Basket Raffle – Donations of fun themed baskets (Suggested retail $10-$20) that students/families can purchase tickets to win. Some ideas: Movie night, book lover, outdoors/camping, beach, arts & crafts, baking, sports, …
Thanks in advance for your support. See you at the Book Fair!

Save the Date: Cavalier School will be hosting a PK -12 Student & Parent/Guardian Muffins for breakfast on February 28 thru March 2 from 7:50-8:30 am each day in the multi. We would like those with last names A-I to attend Feb. 28, J-P on Mar. 1 and R-Z on Mar. 2. If the suggested day doesn't work, feel free to attend a different day. We will be hosting a similar event for grandparents later this Spring.

UPDATE for Candy Grams.
Half of the candy/supplies for the candy grams are delayed due to the weather yesterday. Because of this, they will not be ready in time for Monday. I am hoping they will be here Monday so they can be delivered to the kids on Tuesday.
We do apologize and hope this doesn’t cause any unexpected issues!

Congratulations PCN Grizzlies! Region 2 champs!

The first annual Battle of the Books competition was held on Monday morning here at the Cavalier School! The "Bookworms” came in first place. The "Magical Readers” came in second place. These two teams will advance to the regional competition in Park River. Other teams competing were the "Gila Monsters" and the "Bookvengers".

For their final Q1 project in Library Media, 6th graders sent letters to the favorite athletes, musicians, movie stars, ... in hopes of receiving an autograph. We had begun to lose hope, but yesterday a surprise came in the mail from Michael Jordan's reps. Bryelle Benavides was very excited to receive their response. #realworldlearning
