They must wear a mask through day 10. We continue to provide an opportunity for students (with parent permission) and staff to have BINAX rapid Covid testing each school day from 7:30am-8:30am. Call the school for more information.

Cavalier School will be dismissing at 11 am today. Buses will run. No practices or games this evening.

Cavalier Student Council is excited to announce our upcoming Snow Week Dress Up Days! ❄️

Covid update: We are ending the week with a total of 18 active positive cases. Some of these cases may come off isolation early next week. We will continue our mask mandate next week as well. Hopefully we will have very few new cases and Everyone can get healthy. Check out our updated protocols on our website if you have questions.

Congratulations to all of the participants in the Cavalier Public School Spelling Bee. Caitlyn Karau received first place, and Owen Crosby received second place. Both of these students will represent our school in the Pembina County Spelling Bee on February 8th.

Our COVID positive numbers at the school have increased sharply this week. We are currently at 14 total positives. In following our established protocols, we are above the threshold of 8 positives. Therefore, beginning tomorrow morning, January 13th, we will implement a mask mandate when inside our school buildings and on buses. Once our number drops below 8 positives by the end of a week, we will drop the mandate. In following CDC guidance, it is suggested a N95 mask or surgical type mask protects better than cloth masks. Please do all you can to supply a mask for your child. Hopefully this number will drop quickly as it did last Fall. We hope everyone stays as healthy as possible. Our COVID protocols are on the school website in the News section. Thanks everyone.
