Well done to our high school students and their traditional WALL decorating for Homecoming week. The winner of best display was voted on by preschool - fifth grade classes & will be announced tomorrow.
7am drama meetings for 7-12 grade on Tuesday, September 20 and Wednesday, September 21. We will be reading thru the script for one-act play competition and deciding on parts! Meet in Mrs, Schroeder’s classroom!

Come out to the Jason Shephard Invitation Cross Country Meet at the Cavalier Country Club on Thursday, September 15th.
The race starts with a one mile elementary race open for any elementary students.

Miss Zaharia’s 5th grade spent time learning about the events of 9/11. They listened to first-hand accounts, discussed what makes a hero, and listed ways they can be heroes in their family, school, and community. They were very eager to learn about this moment in our history.

Fitness and Wellness classes got outside today Disc Golfing. Disc Golf is a lifetime activity that anyone can do at all ages! Getting outside and getting active is a great way to stay physically fit.

We are still looking to hire three kitchen workers, a custodian and an elementary boys basketball coach. Would prefer full-time, but are willing to be flexible with part-time employment. If interested or know anyone that is interested, please contact the school for more details.
5th Grade Band night - for any parents of 5th graders interested in playing an instrument in the 5th Grade Band this year - is tomorrow night, September 7, in the band room by door 10 at the school. Please stop in between 3:50 and 7pm and visit with Mrs. Bennett to get set up for the year! If you can't make it to this meeting, please contact Mrs. Bennett (email works great). A representative from Popplers Music will be at the band room from 3:50 to 6pm with instruments available to rent and more information for perspective band students and their parents.
