2nd graders completed a project of writing persuasive letters. They chose to persuade Mr. Ford into letting them go sledding. They wrote letters to him and thank you notes for reading their letters. Their reasons were amazing. They have been working hard and following their Whole Brain Virtues. In the end he agreed and we went sledding. It was a day they will never forget. 🥰

We want to thank this group of 5th graders that held an assembly for our elementary students today. They reviewed our school rules, virtues, and put on a skit to demonstrate the rules and virtues🧡🖤🌪 We are super proud of them and thankful for leadership!
5th Grade ELA classes hosted a “living” wax museum. The museum showcased students exhibiting as their Alphahawk. An Alphahawk is a feature of CPS character education program; it is a hero that you look up to. Students worked very hard, were pushed out of their comfort zones, and did an extraordinary job! Thank you to the City of Cavalier for allowing us use of the armory, to the grades who visited our museum, to the volunteers and teachers who helped out, and to all the parents who helped their students complete this meaningful assignment.
