The girls basketball game vs. Midway-Minto scheduled for tonight has been postponed to tomorrow, February 1st in Midway with 3 games (JH/JV/V) starting at 4:30.
We are hopeful this date will work, but will watch the weather and make a change if needed on Tuesday morning.
Also honored at our Student & Staff Success Assembly were the Quarter 2 Student of the Quarter winners and other recognition for students and staff for academic, music, leadership, invincible grit, and great attitudes. Congratulations everyone!
Cavalier School held our Quarter 2 Student & Staff Success assembly Friday morning. Pictures are the Terrific Tornado awards winners in Elementary, Middle, and High School along with the Elementary F5 award winners (best of the best!) These students were recognized for being respectful, great citizenship and study habits, and being kind and respectful. Congratulations!
Cavalier School has made a couple of changes to our COVID protocols. We have dropped the threshold number completely. We will have masks recommended (not required) for a grade level for 5 days when a positive case is identified in that grade level. Teachers may request, but not require, that a mask be worn in their classroom. Each Friday, a notification will be sent with the current positive case count in our school. Good news for Cavalier School! After being at a high of twenty two active positive COVID cases on Monday, January 17th we are now down to five active cases. We will drop the mask mandate while in the school and on buses effective immediately. Thank you for your cooperation and we hope everyone stays as healthy as possible.

Message from Cavalier School. Cavalier School and buses will run 2 hours late tomorrow. No morning E S P program.
A clarification of our new COVID protocols regarding a positive test, effective January 10, 2022: Positive case will be in isolation for 5 days from symptom onset and can return to school on day 6 with a negative test. They must wear a mask through day 10. We continue to provide an opportunity for students (with parent permission) and staff to have BINAX rapid Covid testing each school day from 7:30am-8:30am. Call the school for more information.
