
North Dakota Studies had a birthday party for North Dakota’s 133rd birthday today. We celebrated with numerous festive activities about ND and enjoyed “Happy 133rd Birthday North Dakota!” cake.


Please check out the lost and found items when you come for parent-teacher conferences. The high school and middle school items are on a table by door one, elementary items are between door 7 and 8 as you enter the elementary wing.



2022 Parent Surveys are now available. Please take a couple minutes to share your thoughts on how Cavalier School is doing and how we can continue to improve. Free Socks! Thanks to Michelle Murray and the Red River Valley Community Action group. Each student in our school received a free pair of Bombas black socks today from this fantastic organization. Thanks to our Student Council members for handing them out this afternoon.

The Pembina County Honor Choir, made up of students from Cavalier, Drayton, Pembina, Walhalla, and Valley-Edinburg, put on a great performance tonight! Thank you to their choir directors and all those involved in making it a great day.
If you missed the performance, it will be on Tornado Vision soon.


Tonight's Pembina County Choir Festival Concert will be livestreamed on Tornado Vision, and is open to the public in the Cavalier School Gymnasium. The concert will begin at 6pm.

The Pembina County Choir Festival on Tuesday, November 1 involves the concert choirs from North Border, Drayton, Valley-Edinburg, and Cavalier Public Schools singing several songs as one large unified choir. The concert will be held at 6pm in the Cavalier High School Gym.

We will be doing retake day for students/ staff that were absent or would like to retake their school pictures next Friday, November 4th from 2:30-5:30pm at Captivate Portraits in Cavalier. Studio is located at 106 Main St, next to the Cavalier Theater. Please enter through the back alley!
We retake any students/ staff for that we’re absent for no charge. Please contact us for our policy on retaking photos for those that may have had issues with their first portraits.
No appt is necessary!

Great job to the middle school band and choir kids on their performance at the Cavalier School Fall Concert. They did a great job. Also a special thanks to our band and choir instructor Mrs. Bennett. Well done by all!



JH Band and JH Choir will present a concert tomorrow (Friday) at 10:30am in the Cavalier School Gym. They will do another concert with different songs in December, this is a short performance in addition to the traditional Christmas concert which includes both JH and HS ensembles. Enter through Door 1 to attend this concert, as it is being held during school hours. Come support our young musicians!

Learn about Financial Literacy, ND Scholarships, CTE and RUReady information, and information about Apprenticeships and Life after High School. Also win prizes including scholarship money. FBLA is sponsoring the 12th Annual Veterans Day Program on Tuesday, November 8th, at 2:00 p.m. in the Cavalier School Gym. Parents and community members are invited to attend. We are again planning a slideshow called “Our Heroes” to honor any veterans that are family members of Cavalier students and staff. If you have a hero in your family that you would like honored in the slideshow, please fill out the form below and return it to the school office by Friday, November 4th. You can submit a picture with your form or email the picture to jason.muth@cavalierk12.org. The picture must also be received by November 4 to be included in the slideshow. If you provided a picture in previous years, please fill out this form and check the box that indicates the usage of the same picture.



On Thursday October 27 all 7th graders will participate in Manufacturing day. This event will provide students with manufacturing experiences of businesses in our area. We ask that all students bring their own lunch on this day. Students will leave the school around 8:50 and be back to school around 1:00. Please call the school if you have any questions.
