The Pembina County Band Festival concert will be shown on EagleVision tonight at 6pm

The Pembina County Band Festival, a collaborative effort among Pembina County music teachers and schools, will wrap up tonight with a live concert combining 63 students from North Border, Cavalier, and Valley-Edinburg school districts at 6pm in the Walhalla Civic Center. The concert is free to attend, and will be livestreamed as well. A link will be posted here when available, hope to see you there for this fun performance!

Reminder- Parent Teacher Conferences will be held this Thursday November 4, 2021 from 3:45-8:15 PM.
Grades PK-3 Parents/Guardians should have received a notification of your child's time that you will meet with his or her teacher.
Grades 4-12 will have traditional parent teacher conferences from 3:45-8:15 PM. Parents/Guardians please show up at your convenience.
Grades 4-8 teachers will be stationed in the multi-purpose room.
Grades- 9-12 teachers including our elective course teachers will be stationed in the main gym.

Let's Get Ready to Battle.
20 students grades 4-6 signed up to participate in this year's first annual Battle of the Books. They will be competing in local and district competitions this February.





Reminder that Pembina County Public Health will be at the school tomorrow (Tuesday) providing flu shots and Pfizer COVID booster shots for those who would like to receive them starting at 9 am. Call the school if you have questions.

Congratulations to the Tornadoes football team on another win!
They are moving on the semifinals where they will be playing the New Salem-Almont Holsteins! The game will be in New Salem on Saturday, November 6th at 1:00 PM (central time).

Come on out to cheer for the Tornadoes as they take on the Surrey Mustangs at 2:00 today.
There is no tailgate today but their will be concessions and a lot of great events and food around Cavalier this morning.

Mrs. Hay's class and PM preschool had a small costume parade. They waved to the residents through the windows at Wedgewood. We hoped they enjoyed the quick parade.


Super Appleman presented to our elementary students this morning. The assembly encouraged students to eat healthy, be active, and be the best person they can be. Our students did a great job of listening and participating. It was a lot of fun!

The Tornadoes will be playing the Surrey Mustangs on Saturday, October 30th at 2:00 in Cavalier. Come on out to support the team!

We are continuing the voluntary Binax COVID rapid testing at Cavalier School for employees at the school and for students (with parent permission.) Testing will be conducted from 7:30-8:30 am, Monday thru Friday when school is in session. Please contact the school office at 265-8417 prior to arriving. The new COVID protocols for the school are posted on the school website in News section under COVID-19 information. Only new change is for household close contacts quarantine procedure.

It is PLAYOFF time!
Cavalier Tornadoes will be playing the Wyndmere-Lidgerwood Warbirds on Saturday @2:30 at Rod Oksendahl Field.
Since this is a playoff game, activity passes will not be accepted. The entrance fee will be $10 for adults and $5 for students. Please park appropriately to fit as many cars as possible.
Come to the game early to enjoy Pulled Pork sandwiches at the tailgate sponsored by Koda Bank. There will be a free will offering with all the money going towards Cavalier Dollars for Scholars.
