Congratulations to Cavalier High School Band students for earning a 1 (Excellent Performance) rating and to Cavalier High School Choir students for earning a Star (Superior Performance) rating at yesterday's Region 3 Large Group Music Contest! Cavalier School and North Valley receive grant award!
Cavalier Public School is excited to announce that the ND Career & Tech Education Board has approved the CTE Capital Grants Project in the amount of $4,752,290 for North Valley Area Career & Technology Center based in Grafton. Part of the grant award proposal (approximately $1.3 million in matching dollars) is to build a satellite Career & Tech center in Cavalier. The Cavalier site would consist of 4 classrooms and a greenhouse that would provide new and improved opportunities for Agriculture Education, Health & Medical Sciences, Technology, and Business. The facility will also be used to provide community and adult education opportunities for our region. We again thank the surrounding area individuals and businesses that supported the project with pledge and in-kind donations back in December to allow the matching funds goal to be reached. Those efforts proved to be successful! We will take the next steps in the project development over the next several months and provide status updates as the project moves along. Feel free to give us a call or email at the school if anyone has questions.

The positive COVID case count at the end of the week is five cases.

2nd graders completed a project of writing persuasive letters. They chose to persuade Mr. Ford into letting them go sledding. They wrote letters to him and thank you notes for reading their letters. Their reasons were amazing. They have been working hard and following their Whole Brain Virtues. In the end he agreed and we went sledding. It was a day they will never forget. 🥰
