While local law enforcement investigations have concluded that no substantiated threat of violence exists regarding yesterday's social media post at Cavalier School, we will again not have school for students on Wednesday, March 15th. We ask that all staff report for work 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday to prepare, train, and development procedures and talking points for bringing staff and students back to our building on Thursday, March 16th. If anyone has any further information about this incident, please contact the Cavalier Police Department.

Due to a threat of gun violence towards the school made on a social media site, school will be cancelled tomorrow at Cavalier School. An investigation by law enforcement is underway. We need to be sure this matter is resolved and all is safe before classes resume.

Cavalier School will have a freewill offering fundraiser Hat Day on Thursday, March 16th in support of the Tollefson family that lost their home and belongings in a fire a few weeks ago. Bring your donation and wear a hat all day! We will be collecting donations that morning.

Congratulations to a couple of Cavalier athletes! Senior Landon Carter again earned all state honors in boys hockey and Junior Talan Devine earned all region honors in boys basketball! Way to represent our school and community!

A fun, engaging, and delicious event is being sponsored by our middle school FBLA students and the Cavalier American Legion Auxillary on Sunday, March 19th. Proceeds will benefit the Veterans Honor Flight for ND/MN. Anyone can donate to the Silent Auction, join the hotdish competion, or attend the event.




Due to tomorrow's forecasted road conditions and weather towards Bismarck, we are cancelling the planned legislature trip for Juniors & Seniors on Wednesday, March 8th.

A reminder that Pembina County Public Health will be at the school tomorrow to complete immunizations to students in grades 6, 10, and 11. Please bring signed forms that were mailed out last week. Please call if you have any questions.

It's time for the little red truck to come back to Cavalier. Information will be coming home with students this week!

The 5th grade class hosted their Alphahawk "living" wax museum today. These students did an awesome job on the entire project. They picked perfect Alphahawks, or heroes, and took great care throughout the entire project. Thank you to all who came and supported them today!

Happening tomorrow!
On Wednesday, March 1st from 9:30am-11am, 5th graders will be hosting a "living" wax museum. The event will be set up as a museum in which students themselves will be the statues dressed in costume as their hero. They will also have recorded speeches and images. This event will be located at the armory and is open to the public.

The Book Fair is still open for shopping, but if you can't make it in person, you can shop online at our school book fair page. All proceeds still go to our library!
