A reminder that Chromebooks will be handed out during the Back to Schoo/ Open House from 4-6:30 pm tonight for students in grades 6-12. The Chromebook $25.00 fee needs to be paid and the Chromebook agreement form signed by student and parent before the Chromebook is issued.

High School sports season is here!
- Come on out to the Cavalier Sports Complex Friday night to cheer on the Tornadoes football team as they take on Northern Cass in an 11-man game @7PM. Come early to enjoy a tailgate put on by Cavalier Boosters and to recognize our 2002 state championship team.
- Cheer on the Grizzlies Cross Country team as they head to Hillsboro tomorrow morning for a meet at 10AM.

Elementary (5th & 6th) Girls Basketball Practice will begin on Monday, August 22 @4:00PM in the Armory. The season will run from August 22 through the end of September. Please call the school at 265-8417 to sign up your child and get on the remind APP. They will also need an Activity Pass and a sports physical.
We are excited at Cavalier School in that two weeks from today, school will begin! The family letter was mailed last week and is also posted to our school app/website. Just a reminder that only school-issued Chromebooks or tablets can be used at the school. The reason being is security issues with other non-school devices. We will issues Chromebooks to students in grades 6-12 at the Back to School Open House on Tuesday, Aug. 23 from 4-6:30 pm. We also have the following positions open:

Football pictures will be taken at the football field tomorrow after practice. Practice will start at 7:00 am. Players are to bring their black jerseys and black game pants for pictures, but will still wear practice gear for practice.

Fall sports and getting going for the Tornadoes and Grizzlies! Here are a few practice times if you want to join a sport but have not yet:
- HS Football: Practice has started weekdays from 7:00-10:30AM in the practice field
- JH Football: Practice has started weekdays from 7:00-9:00AM in the practice field
- Cross Country: Practice has started. Next practice is today (Tuesday) @7:00PM
- HS Volleyball: First practice is Monday, August 15 @6:30AM in the gym
- JH Volleyball: First practice is Tuesday, August 16 @8:00AM in the gym
Just a reminder that Meet the Tornadoes/Grizzlies will be Tuesday, August 16 at 7:00PM at the sports complex. There will be a mandatory parent meeting to follow for students in 7-12 grade sports. If you have any questions, please contact the school.
JH football practice starts tomorrow! We will meet in the locker room for equipment checkout at 7:00 am, practice to follow until 10:00. Bring water, cleats, mouthguards, and physicals.

While our annual Family Letter won't be sent out for a few more weeks we have approved meal prices and other fees to begin the 2022-23 school year. Student breakfast will be $2.10 and student lunch will be $3.30. Currently, the government program to pay for school meals for students is not in effect for the 2022-23 school year. We encourage families to print off and fill out the Free & Reduced Lunch application and return it to the school. This is found on the Student & Parent links section of the app and website. There will be an online form available in the near future. Families can pay for meals, activity fees and Chromebook fees at the school office or on the school e-Funds site.
