5th and 6th grade Girls BB Practice will start on Monday, August 21st @ 4:00pm at the Auditorium. Players are required to have a physical prior to practicing. Physicals can be turned in at the school or brought to the first practice. A $30 elementary pay to play fee is also due prior to the first game. This can be paid in the office at any time.

The new free and reduced meal applications are being mailed out to families. There have been some changes that will allow families that were close but did not make it in the past to get assistance. Check out the charts on the application, if you are close apply. If there is a change in income at any time during the year that would allow you to qualify you may apply again at that time. Just contact the office for additional forms when needed. We need all that qualify to apply, as many grants are determined by the percentage of students who qualify. Pembina County Behavioral Health Coalition along with Public Health invite you to join them for a Suicide Awareness run/walk! More information about the event and registration is on cavalier.recdesk.com or print out these forms with a payment and bring to the Public Health office in the courthouse.

It's that time of year when we all start thinking about school.
What are you going to do with the kids before or after school?
You have the opportunity to register your child/children for ESP online as it is now open. Before you do please check out the changes that are happening this year!
ESP is only for grades Pre-k-5th. There will be AM and PM ESP again this year!
We will not take drop in kids this year.
We are putting a limit on the number of kids we are allowing into ESP.
With Esser funds coming to an end we will be charging a fee for ESP starting this year. This year the board was kind enough to go with 1/2 the cost it will cost next year as this will be the last year of Esser funds.
You are able to apply for a reduced rate for ESP. All you need to do is fill out the free and reduced application! If you are unsure just fill it out! NO one sees it except the office ladies!
You will be able to pay your monthly ESP fees online!
The monthly fees will be as follows.
1 child -$50
2 children- $90
3 children- $130
4 children- $170
Preschool and reduced rates are as follow:
1 child $25
2 children $45
3 children $65

Everyone's summer is busy, but just a reminder to make sure that you find time to get your Sports Physicals for the 2023-2024 school year! Players are not allowed to practice or play without one! Football starts August 3rd, VB and XC start on the 14th. Get them prior to that!
Jaylynn and Emersen finished in 4th place for their Community Service Project at FBLA Nationals in Atlanta! Brynn, Nash, and Caleb also made the finals but just missed cracking the top 10. So proud of all the kids that made it to Atlanta this year. Now we get to reload and set our sights on next years Nationals trip, which will be held in Orlando, Florida! Heads up Mickey, the Tornadoes are coming!

Congratulations to Emersen and Jaylynn (Community Service Presentation) and Nash, Brynn and Caleb (Critical Thinking) on making the finals at the FBLA National Leadership Conference in Atlanta! They will each be presenting again on Thursday with a chance to get on stage Friday night at the awards ceremony! Good Luck! Regardless of the outcome for all of our competitors, you have all made Cavalier proud! Go Tornadoes!
Exciting to announce the newest addition to our administration team at Cavalier School. Congratulations to Tara Hartje on being hired as our grade PK-5 Principal/Counselor. We will have a shift in duties for the 2023-24 year as Jonathan Moquist will be the grade 6-12 Principal, Mitch Greenwood will be the Activities Director, and Matt Ford as School Superintendent.
