School will be in session on Thursday, March 16th. Teachers, counselors, and administration will be speaking with Pk-12 students at 8:30 tomorrow morning about the events of the past two days. Police Chief Jeff Osvald will be a part of the assemby for grade 6-12. All 12th grade students must attend school first period. Senior privileges are not in effect tomorrow morning. Topics will include age appropriate discussions to reassure school safety, dealing with emotions, and our new cell phone policy, as approved by the Cavalier School Board on March 14th. Starting tomorrow, students must keep any cell phone brought to school in their hallway locker and turned off. They will not be allowed to use them from 7:35 am to 3:35 pm. Any cell phone seen or heard by any staff member will be immediately confiscated and turned into the school office. The cell phone may be picked up in the office at the end of the school day. This new change is being made to help enhance school safety and student well-being and promote better student engagement. Please give us a call at the school if you have any questions.

The 5th grade class hosted their Alphahawk "living" wax museum today. These students did an awesome job on the entire project. They picked perfect Alphahawks, or heroes, and took great care throughout the entire project. Thank you to all who came and supported them today! More photos can be found on the Cavalier PTO Facebook page.
